Brass in Concert Details Revealed
The Brass in Concert Championships, has announced the names of the 11 bands that will compete at the 2025 event. As has become tradition, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music is the venue for the competition, which will take place on Saturday 15th November. Confirmed participants include the reigning champion Cory (Wales), with further British representation from England and Scotland, as well as European competitors from Scandinavia and the Netherlands.
Frank Renton will once again reprise his role as the ‘host with the most’, introducing each band and their chosen programmes on the day. The draw for the contest will be made at the forthcoming European Championship in Stavanger. On Sunday 16th November it is the turn of exciting talents of the Youth Brass in Concert contenders where seven youth bands will showcase their programmes.
Commenting on this year’s line-up Nigel Stevens, CEO of Brass in Concert, stated, “We're absolutely thrilled with the calibre of bands competing this year. It's especially exciting to welcome new and returning faces into the senior Championship and Youth Championship. That blend of fresh faces and established names is what keeps Brass in Concert unique. We're also delighted to return to The Glasshouse, and continue our close partnerships with World of Brass, Yamaha and Banks Group to make it all happen."

Brass in Concert is giving away a pair of free tickets to one lucky winner who correctly guesses which bands will be drawn to perform first for both Brass in Concert and Youth Brass in Concert Championships. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday 11th July, via The Glasshouse website. Prices are £42.50 or £33 + booking fee, whilst Youth Brass in Concert will be £13 for adults, £5 for U18s, and free for under 5s.
