ConsTest 2025 Results

Congratulations to First Section Welsh Champions Parc and Dare Band on winning the third ConsTest Competition in Birmingham yesterday. MD Dewi Griffiths was delighted with his band’s performance of Derek Bourgeois’ ‘Blitz’, which not only earned them first place, but also Beset Bass Section and Best Instrumentalist for the band’s flugel player.
This event has quickly become an attractive fixture in the contesting calendar, with its ethos of openness (not just with its adjudication) and inclusivity providing a wide-ranging and enjoyable span of music making. You can enjoy all the performances 'on demand' by subscribing to: www.nxtod.com
