NYBBGB Easter Principals
The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain has begun its Easter residential at Pangbourne College under the direction of Guest Conductor, Colonel David Barringer MVO MBE. Following a day of seating auditions yesterday, this course’s principals were announced as:
Cornet - Stephanie
Soprano - Nayan
Flugel - Noah
Horn - Alice
Baritone - Matthew
Trombone - Tom
Bass Trom - Malachy
Euphonium - Angus
Eb Bass - Holly
Bb Bass - Jake
Percussion - Alec and Victoria
A spokesperson from the course state, “Congratulations to all of you, we cannot wait to hear our leaders, and all of our musicians, shine throughout the week!”
If you would like to hear these fantastic young musicians you can attend the band’s Open Day on 18th April at Pangbourne College. Tickets for the end of course concert are free of charge and can be reserved here The concert takes palce on 19th April at Tidmouth Garrison Theatre at 5pm.
