2025 ODBBA Contest Results 

The Oxfordshire & District Brass Band Association (ODBBA) recently held its own-choice test-piece contest at Cokethorpe School in Witney with Steven Mead adjudicating all 34 performances. 
 
The top section competed on 'Diversions' by Derek Bourgeois where Verwood Brass took the win for a fourth consecutive time. Staffordshire and Medway completed the podium. 
Commenting on social media a Verwood spokesperson stated, “Fabulous day at Oxfordshire BBA Contest! Won the Championships Section with prizes too for 'Best Cornet' and 'Best Tenor Horn'.” 
 
The full results of all sections are below and the date of the 2026 contest has been confirmed as Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March.
