Weston Conductors’ Competition Final

The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain’s newest event is set to take place at the end of this month as six conducting finalists will take to the stage for the Final of the Weston Conductors’ Competition. Commenting on the event NYBBGB CEO Mark Bromley explained, “After such a restrictive two years, it’s good to feel that there is a return to the musical occasions we all love, starting with one of our newest events – the Weston Conductors’ competition.

“In its exciting final stage, the competition takes place on Saturday 29th January at De Montfort School in Evesham, Worcestershire, with members of the NYBBGB supporting the six conducting finalists as they compete for the rare opportunity to be tutored by Martyn Brabbins, Music Director of the English National Opera. The event promises to be a great day and, as always, all support for these young musicians is greatly appreciated - we look forward to seeing you there!”

Tickets for this unmissable final can be purchased via the NYBBGB Eventbrite page
