Butlin’s 2023 Cancelled

As the 2022 Butlin’s Festival gets underway BBW has been informed that the 2023 event will not go ahead. One of the Festival organisers Steve Walker made the following statement, “Butlins Resort Skegness is looking forward to welcoming all bands and guests to, what promises to be, another fabulous brass band festival and sends sincere thanks to everyone who has worked tirelessly to make the festival happen, especially in these difficult circumstances. 

“This is our 18th brass band festival here, an event that has been hugely enjoyed by bands from all over the country and beyond. So, it is with great sadness that we have to inform you that the Festival will be unable to take place in January 2023 owing to calendar issues. However, Butlins and the Festival Organisers are working together to secure a date in 2024 when it is hoped that this popular family weekend will be able to return.”
