Brighouse is back in Action

With the support of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Brighouse and Rastrick Band will perform in their first concert since the start of the pandemic next Saturday, 12th June. This concert has been made possible under the current restrictions with help from the Arts Council Culture Recovery Fund.

The band started back in rehearsals after the latest lockdown easing and have been thoroughly enjoying working together as a band again. Commenting on the upcoming concert a spokesperson for the band stated, “Next week we will be returning to our favourite local venue, Brighouse Methodist Church, to perform in a concert especially for our patrons, who have been an incredible support to the band over the last year.

"In order to maintain social distancing in the church, tickets will not be available to the general public for this event. However, we will be live streaming the whole concert from the church on our social media platforms for free to make this first live performance accessible to all of our supporters. More details to follow on the live stream next week.

"We are very excited to get back to performing and meeting all of our amazing supporters. There will be plenty of opportunities to see the band over the coming months either in person or on a live stream, so watch this space to see our upcoming events.”
