JHS to distribute pBone

John Hornby Skewes and Co. Ltd. has added the UK and ROI distribution of the successful and fast-selling pBone range of plastic instruments to its portfolio.

Said the Company’s Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Alan Smith: “At the heart of what we do is a passion to widen access to playing and making music - an ethos that pBone and JHS share. Aimed at beginners and professionals alike, pBone - the world’s first trombone made from tough, durable plastic - caused quite a stir when it was first introduced and was quickly followed by the world’s first plastic pTrumpet with a fully plastic valve system and patented lead-pipe technology, adjustable main, first and third tuning slides, plus a 3c and 5c mouthpiece (although an standard metal mouthpiece will fit).

Said JHS’s Alan Smith: “Made from tough, durable plastic and available in a variety of colours, pBone instruments are ideal for younger players, especially the smaller, lighter pBone Mini pitched in Eb, although experienced players will also have fun using this alto instrument for new and exciting sounds.
