Euro adventure in Halifax

In preparation for the European Championships, the Brighouse & Rastrick Band is thrilled to welcome Elland Silver Youth Band to its European Adventure concert in Halifax Minster on 9 April.

Formed in 1995, Elland Youth conducted by Samantha Harrison, continues to develop as one of the most outstanding youth bands in the world. B&R’s recently appointed Resident Musical Director, Leigh Baker, will front proceedings, and the band’s professional conductor Professor David King, will also make an appearance to direct a new piece which will be played by the band at the forthcoming European Championships in France.
