Brass Bands England (BBE) has announced the appointment of Louise Jones as its new Operations Co-ordinator, replacing Graham Sandersfield, who left the post in December.

Louise has been hailed by BBE as a potential high-quality replacement, who previously worked with BBE to provide the Virtual Box Office and additional marketing services for the 2015 National Youth Brass Band Championships. Her expertise and dedication to customer service impressed BBE trustees and she joins from a regional role with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). She also provided technical assistance to the Reserves Area Manager and the Director of the Northern Region and, prior to joining the RSPB, was Set-up and Support Manager for Quay Tickets - part of the Lowry Theatre.

BBE Chairman, Mike Kilroy, said his organisation was delighted to secure Louise, and said her dedication, expertise and experience would support the liaison officer team, trustees, members and stakeholders now, and in the future."
