National Champions look for 'Arts Explore Award' Volunteers
Earlier this year Foden's were successful in an application to the 'Heritage Lottery' to fund a number of 'Heritage Projects.' One of the projects was for young people to work towards an 'explore arts award' (which is a Nationally recognised award) using Foden's as inspiration.
Speaking about the award Mark Wilkinson commented, “An 'arts explore award' is an Entry Level (Entry 3) qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and participants who complete the explore level receive a certificate and can progress to bronze, silver and gold levels. We are looking for 15 volunteers aged between 8 and 16 years who would be asked to commit to between 20 - 35 hours of arts activities over a 5-month period online. The award is free of charge and would be led by a specialist in this field.”
