Latest Release from ‘Insieme’

The idea of tuba artist Les Neish, Northern Irish trumpeter Pamela Stainer and made possible by funding from Arts Council NI, ‘Insieme’ (Italian for together) gives the chance for brass players to learn new music and play along with a star-studded band all from the comfort of their own home.

After the successful release of ‘And So It Is’ by Alan Fernie, the Insieme project is set to release their latest work.  Over 300 players from around the world have signed up to be able to practice at home, with their families or over Zoom with their bands.  The latest piece “Insieme - A Little Suite for Brass” is a three-movement work which will provide more of a challenge and raise the bar for everyone!

Scored for full brass band, players can watch tutorial videos from top players including Richard Poole, Steven Mead, Owen Farr, Amy Ewan and Les Neish who give expert advice on how to practice the parts and achieve great results.  Players can then join the band with the conductor play along video.  All from the comfort of their own home.  Once players can get together in the near future, these pieces can even receive a world premiere!
