Bolsover International Brass Band Summer School

The Bolsover Summer School is pleased to announce that it will be running from Sunday 25th July to Friday 30th July at the usual course venue of Shirebrook Academy in Derbyshire. 

The Bolsover District famed for its iconic attractions such as Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall, Renishaw Gardens, Newstead Abbey, Creswell Crags, the rugged landscape, the close proximity to the Peak District National Park and also home to one of the world’s largest Brass Band Festivals and home to the Bolsover International Brass Band Summer School.

The event boasts fantastic mix of tutorials, recitals, indoor and outdoor public performances and planned leisure activities as well as an opportunity for one to one tuition with some of the finest tutors in the world today. For 2021, they’ve lined up some of the best tutors in the business headed up by internationally renowned euphonium virtuoso Professor Steven Mead.

Course Fees are as follows: Residential (sharing room) all inclusive: £525; Non-Residential: £375; Non-Participating: £375 (includes residential); Single Occupancy Room Rate: £635
