Foden’s Winter Training Day Success
Following the recent announcement that Foden's had been successful in an application to Arts Council England for a three-year programme of events, the band launched their first funded session which was a free 'Winter' training day held on the 19th December. All the 50 places were subsequently taken within 48 hours and included members from Hong Kong and Canada.
During the course of the day, delegates were treated to a variety of classes covering improvisation, composition, conducting and general practice / performance techniques led by the Foden's Principal players and conducting team of Russell Gray and Michael Fowles
