Foden’s Contest Judges Announced

Foden’s have announced their line-up of expert adjudicators who will be making the important decisions for the 2020 Foden’s Online Solo and Ensemble Competition. The panel consists of John Barber, Jonathan Bates, Gary Curtin, Michael Fowles, Mark Landon and Mark Wilkinson from within the band, with further support and expertise from David Childs, Russell Gray, Simone Rebello and Bramwell Tovey.

The 10th anniversary event will feature Slow Melody and Air-Varie sections for each of the over-18 and under-18 age categories, plus Open Percussion and Ensemble sections. Owing to the anticipated number of entries, the solo categories will be split into two rounds of judging, with the top-five contenders invited to perform a different piece in the Grand Final. This will also be broadcast online on Friday 30th October and will also feature the top-five performances from the other categories before the announcement of the results.

The deadline is now approaching fast (25th September) and the judges can't wait to enjoy your superb performances. Rules and entry details available from darren@fodensband.co.uk
