Anna Hughes-Williams Steps Down

Anna Hughes-Williams has announced that she has made the difficult decision to leave Foden's and full-time playing. Speaking about her decision Anna stated, “Following a lot of thought during lock down, I have made the difficult decision to finish full time banding. After a long-playing career including spells with Wingates, Desford, Besses o'th Barn and YBS, I am now looking forward to a new chapter in my life. I wish Foden's all the best for the future and thank them for their friendships and great memories.”

Speaking on behalf of Foden's Mark Wilkinson commented, “We are extremely sad that Anna has made the difficult decision to leave Foden's. Anna has been a fantastic asset of the organisation since originally joining in 1990, in terms of playing, commitment and her social contribution. As well as being a valued playing member, she has also been the conductor of our Junior Band since 2015, we are extremely pleased that she will continue in this role and wish her the very best in her future endeavours.”
