Inaugural National Children’s Concert Band

The organisers of the National Youth Concert Band have made the exciting announcement that they will be running their first ever National Children's Concert Band course next Easter. For younger musicians, aged 11-14 with grades 4 or 5, the band will be led by the experienced educator and conductor Jane Conway with tutoring from the same high quality tutors working with the National Youth Concert Band.

Jane ‍has ‍worked ‍at ‍Wardle ‍Academy ‍for ‍29 ‍years ‍teaching ‍both ‍brass ‍& ‍woodwind ‍and ‍has ‍played ‍and ‍conducted ‍at ‍some ‍of ‍the ‍finest ‍concert ‍halls ‍in ‍Europe, ‍such ‍as ‍the ‍Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Academy of Music. She has been  ‍Wardle ‍Academy’s ‍Wind ‍Band ‍musical ‍director ‍for ‍the ‍past ‍12 ‍years, ‍winning ‍many plaudits including multiple platinum awards at the National Concert Band Festival.
