PMR Moves Online

The Prairie Music Residency (PMR) was set up by the Saskatoon Brass Bands Inc. in 2013 to help further enrich the long-standing tradition of British-style brass banding in Saskatchewan and North America, while offering players a chance to work with world class brass band musicians and improve their skills in an intimate and inclusive environment.

Whilst in-person plans could not proceed, organisers have been able to be able to move the event online.  PMR Online will continue with the tradition of providing access to outstanding national and international clinicians.  Via online seminars and interactive Zoom sessions, participants can join in spotlight Q and A sessions, small group discussions, and even arrange for private lessons if desired.

Online Sessions start tomorrow (August 6th) and run until August 9th 2020 at a cost of (Approximately £26) and the content will be available to registrants for post-event viewing until August 30th. There is a fantastic line-up of experts for this year including: Mark Wilkinson, Bones Apart (Becky Smith, Sarah Williams, Jayne Murrill, and Helen Vollam), Helen Varley, Les Neish and TorQ (Richard Burrows, Adam Campbell, Jamie Drake, and Daniel Morphy)
