Yorkshire & Humberside Brass Band Contest Cancelled

The 2020 Yorkshire & Humberside Brass Band Association annual contest, which was to have taken place at Dewsbury Town Hall on Sunday 25th October has been cancelled because of the ongoing uncertainty and restrictions surrounding the global pandemic.

Contest Administrator Adam Whittle stated, "We had hoped to 'ride the storm' and proceed with our contest post lockdown, but this has proved impossible. Based on current guidance, rehearsals and performances are still restricted making our contest not viable for this year. We will return in 2021 and will provide dates and information as soon as possible. We hope that you will continue to support the YHBBA next year and in the meantime, stay safe and well."
