RNCM Brass Band Festival – Read all about it!

The RNCM Brass Band Festival has always enjoyed widespread acclaim for its World class performances, challenging repertoire and pioneering vision.  The 2020 Festival also caught the attention of the National press, with The Telegraph featuring the event in its media coverage.
 
Given the plethora of outstanding performances on display this year from the finest British Bands and Youth Bands in addition to virtuosic soloists and brass ensembles it is unsurprising that once again the Festival captivated audiences over the weekend.
The Festival’s Artistic Director, Paul Hindmarsh stated, "What a festival! There was a large receptive audience and a fantastic atmosphere all weekend. That was down to all the work put in by the bands, conductors and performers on substantial, challenging repertoire.
 
“I feel immensely privileged to be able to invite world class performers to this festival for them to showcase what the best British bands are capable of in terms of musical insight and technical skill. It also shows that there is a growing international audience for a festival of this scope, and it was pleasure to welcome so many people from across the banding globe this year.”
