Alan Gifford signs for GUS        

The GUS Band has announced the signing of Alan Gifford as their new solo trombone player.
The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire graduate joins from Flowers and the Staffordshire Band.
 
Having already performed with the band at the Nationals in October Alan said of his permanent appointment: "It's great to take on the role having taken an interest in the band and their successes for many years. On a personal note, it's a privilege to take over the role held by Chris Jeans but also to now play under his Musical Direction. The band has an exciting future ahead and I look forward to being part of it."
