High Five for Valaisia

The impressive Auditorium Stravinsky in Montreux hosted 63 bands during the weekend for the Swiss Nationals. In the Excellence division there were ten superb performances of Philip Wilby’s ‘Jazz’ yesterday and own choice works showcased today, with the victory spoils going to Valaisia and their conductor Arsene Duc. This is the band’s fifth consecutive win at the Swiss Nationals and Valaisia will now be looking forward to representing Switzerland at the 2020 European Championships in Palanga.

Congratulations also go to Ensemble de Cuivres Euphonia, BML Talents, Constellation Brass Band B, Musik Frohsinn Oberburg and Entlebucher Jugend Brass Band on winning their respective divisions.
