Marzella joins forces with Halle Brass

Yamaha artist Katrina Marzella is joining forces with the Halle Brass Quintet as they take part in a 'Big Brass Day!' on Sunday 1st December at Tadcaster Grammar School. The Black Dyke Baritone virtuoso and the world class brass ensemble will help young brass musicians to explore different styles of music, play alongside professional musicians, learn new skills, attend workshops and meet leading performers. The event is being run by the youth music charity NYMAZ and is completely free to attend.

NYMAZ Director, Sarah McWatt stated: "This is now the third in our recent series of free Big Brass Day events. Brass music is in our DNA in North Yorkshire and at NYMAZ we are firmly committed to supporting young musicians across the county. This workshop will enable them to explore different styles of brass playing and refine their technique. We have some of the UK's finest brass talent joining us to teach and inspire our home-grown talent and take their playing to the next level."

All brass players up to 18 years old and Grade 4 standard and over are welcome. Book your free place at  https://bigbrassdaythree.eventbrite.co.uk
