Wychavon Festival of Brass 2019

The popular Wychavon Festival of Brass celebrated its 30th anniversary this weekend at De Montford School in Evesham. As always the Gala Concert preceding the main contest event proved popular. The following day the appreciative audiences heard over 60 competing performances.

Congratulations to Fishburn, ably led by their MD Duncan Beckley, as their performance secured them a two point lead over runners-up Kiddlington Concert Brass. Wantage Band followed closely for the final podium place. Congratulations also go to Blackburn & Darwen, Manger Old Stars Brass, Hawk Green Band and Putney & Wimbledon as the winners of their respective sections.
