Create! Is launched by the Cumnock Tryst

A new project has ben announced that sees Sir James MacMillan’s Cumnock Tryst festival working with the young people living with autism from Daldorch House School in Ayrshire.

Create! is a new project by The Cumnock Tryst in partnership with Live Music Now Scotland, Hebrides Ensemble, Drake Music Scotland and Daldorch House School (National Autistic Society). It offers the students the opportunity to experience live music in a place where they are comfortable and to start exploring how they might create music themselves, while also allowing the partners to learn more about how to work with people who have autism. It is hoped this will enrich the pupil’s lives and develop professional learning.
