2019 Bolsover Festival of Brass
Congratulations to the prize winners at the 2019 Bolsover Festival of Brass. Skelmanthorpe took the honours in the Championship section with Crofton Silver, Chapeltown Silver, Whitworth Vale & Healey and Matlock also winning their respective sections.
Brass band fans enjoyed a full day of non-stop brass band entertainment broadcast live from the Bolsover Festival of Brass. There was something for everyone with diverse programming from Iron Maiden and electric guitar features Romantic classics from Shotakovich and Mussorgsky. Audiences also enjoyed an interactive approach that allowed them to cast a vote for the ‘viewers award’ and make comment on the event social media feeds.
