Coldstream Guards bid farewell to Sergeant Parry

Sunday 11thAugust saw Sergeant Rob Parry, Principal Cornet with the Band of the Coldsteam Guards, perform his final Changing of the Guard ceremony before he joins the Band of the Scots Guards.
 
Commenting on the move a spokesperson for the Coldstream Guards stated, “Sergeant Parry joined the band in 2003 and for the last few years has had the honour of leading the Cornet section as their principal. After thousands of public duties and numerous tours of Asia, Europe, Australia and America we say goodbye as he moves to the extremely lucky Band of the Scots Guards. We wish you all the best success for your future and look forward to working with you in the Massed Bands, and just remember once a Coldstreamer, always a Coldstreamer.”
