IBBSS in fine form for Gala Concert

The International Brass Band Summer School is in full flight, in the beautiful location of Swansea Bay in South Wales. This largest of all the Summer Schools is divided in to two bands, which alternate between full rehearsals under the expert guidance of Professor Nicholas Childs and tutorials with the fantastic array of top flight music tutors. There’s also the opportunity for individual lessons, recitals, informal concerts as well as many entertaining leisure pursuits. The full massed band is also busy rehearsing for what promises to be a terrific Gala Concert on Friday 2ndAugust. The concert will take place at 7pm at the University of Swansea, Fulton House, Singleton Park Campus SA2 8PP and is completely free of charge to attend. Featuring a stellar line up of soloists including Richard Marshall, Owen Farr, Tom Hutchinson and Brett Baker this is a concert not to be missed.
