Cententary Celebrations for Saff

Brass of the Saff recently helped Leicester celebrate 100 years of City status. The band, formed at the Saffron Lane Housing Estate, invited brass, percussion and woodwind players to meet up in the city centre for a fabulous massed bands performance.
 
Julie Maxwell from Brass of the Saff commented, "It was a great success. We had players coming together and talking about banding in general, youngsters playing way above anything we thought possible, artists mixing with musicians, artists loving the performance and adults having a go and signing up for banding! It felt really positive all round and made for a great event."
