Van Looy to record Bourgeois

International euphonium virtuoso Glenn Van Looy will be recording works with Tredegar for his latest solo CD release. The Geneva International Performance Artist flew into the UK earlier in the week to rehearse with the band ahead of the recording this weekend, which will include a premiere recording of the Bourgeois ‘Euphonium Concerto’ with brass band.
 
Commenting on the project Glenn was keen to pay tribute to the fantastic musicians around the stand, including MD Ian Porthouse: "It's great to be back in Wales and to be working with Tredegar. I'm a huge fan of their musical outlook. I'm sure we will enjoy ourselves this weekend." The recording is being made alongside World of Sound Recordings.
