An Audience with David Read MBE

One of the brass band world's most recognized and well respected personalities will return to the concert stage on 20thJuly for an afternoon of music and conversation in aid of local charities. David’s incredible musical career will be celebrated through a concert given by East London Brass and conductor Jayne Murrill. The concert will be showcase a range of classic brass band repertoire by the likes of Eric Ball, Gilbert Vinter, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Franz Lehar, Leroy Anderson and Arthur Butterworth. Between the carefully chosen programmed items 4barsrest editor, Iwan Fox, will ask David questions about his banding life and musical inspirations.
 
Tickets for the recorded concert are free, however David has asked that audience members consider making a charitable donation at the end of the concert to Hinchingbrooke Hospital or to the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust through their Just Giving page: https:/­/­www.justgiving.com/­crowdfunding/­davidreadconcert
