North West Regional Championships announces competitors

The first of the 2019 Area contests is due to take place on 24thFebruary with 75 bands set to compete across five sections. As usual the contest is hosted by the Winter Gardens, Blackpool with tickets available from £10 when the hall opens to the public at 8.20 am.
 
Richard Milton the North West Regional Secretary stated, "We're delighted by the number of entrants, maintaining our strong position as a Regional contest. Accommodating all the bands on one day makes for an exciting opportunity to listen to bands at all levels, including three National Champions!"
 
In a change from the originally announced adjudicating panel, Sheona White will replace Tom Davoren, owing to his work commitments. The contest will begin at 9.45am and is due to finish at around 7.45pm.
