All Stars support Create Boltones
An All Star’ Band made up of many of the top brass band players in the UK featuring Richard Poole and Melanie Wylde (Fodens), Brett Baker (Black Dyke), Sarah Lenton (Leyland) and Kathleen Gaspoz, Philippe Schwartz and Helen Varley (Grimethorpe) will perform conducted by the most colourful and flamboyant of conductors, Richard Evans .
The concert will take place tomorrow, Saturday 13th October at Claremont Church, St George’s Entrance, Bolton Bl1 2BY at 7pm. Billed as a Create Brass Explosion charity concert the band hopes to help raise funds for the CreateBoltones, a weekly musical group directed by Anna Hughes-Williams and Toby Hobson.
CreateBoltones work with people who may become socially isolated or marginalised by their social circumstance, disability, illness, age and financial situation, and endeavour to create positive relationships that make a difference by offering teenagers and young adults the opportunity to make music and participate in community activities.
