BBE advertises for a Chief Executive 

Brass Bands England is seeking to appoint "an outstanding and talented individual, with a proven track record and a passion for brass bands" to become its new Chief Executive. The post is worth approximately 25% of the total grant money paid to BBE by Arts Council England, for a leader who can meet the organisation's ambitious plans for the future.  

BBE is looking for applicants that have "The drive, energy and ability to work as part of a team, able to draw on the expertise of others and inspire, motivate and support staff." They should also have, "excellent operational experience, a good strategic sense and the ability to spot opportunities and capitalise on them", as well as the ability to "build strong relationships with the brass band sector, key stakeholders and strategic partners." 

BBE stated that the successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of all operational outcomes, maintaining the focus on quality support provision and further developing the organisation. 

BBE has ambitious plans for the future and seek a leader with integrity, energy and resilience who will work with the Board of Trustees to deliver our strategic objectives.
