Awards at B&R  Celebration Evening

The Brighouse & Rastrick Band enjoyed the start of 2018 last weekend with their annual band awards meal. 
 
Including a three-course meal, members and friends of the Band dressed up for a night of fun and laughter, celebrating the fantastic memories B&R experienced in 2017. 
 
Congratulations go to Kathleen Gaspoz for winning “Conductor’s Player of the Year”, Matt Wade for winning “Bandsman of the Year”, the horns and flugel for winning the “Best Section” award, and Ellena Newton for winning the “Non-principal Player of the Year”. 
 
The Brighouse & Rastick Band are looking forward to returning back to West Ridings this week, in preparation for their annual joint concert with EYMS Band on the 20th January in Hull Town Hall.
