2018 Dublin Festival of Brass 

The Dublin Festival of Brass will take place on Saturday, March 24th at Dublin Jerome Performing Arts Center in Dublin, Ohio, USA and registration for the 2018 event is now open. The contest format sees each band performing a major work, a march and a slow melody in an attempt to win the Paul E. Droste Shield. 

A spokesperson stated: "The adjudicator for the 2018 event will be Besson euphonium artist Steven Mead. We have been using Steven's criteria based assessment rubric, so we are delighted to have its creator involved. The Caption Adjudicator will be William Ballenger, Director of the School of Music at The Ohio State University." 

Registration must be completed by December 1st, 2017. However, if there is an excessively high demand then numbers will be limited to the first entries received.
