Referring back to article four, in which we discussed what, when and how to practice. We can now progress on to ‘how to practise those seemingly impossible pieces’… and that can include test-pieces, concertos or new band pieces. This may sound like teaching your granny to suck eggs, but for many it is just too overwhelming…
