John Squires-Evans
John is a peripatetic brass & string teacher, a year 7 classroom teacher and a Youth Band conductor, who runs his own Music Service teaching in Primary, Secondary Schools, and Blackpool Sixth Form College.
His 'first' career was as an Army Musician in the Royal Artillery Band & Orchestra, then the Kings Division Band. John plays piano, violin, viola, cornet, trumpet & his favourite - the Flugel Horn.

Having studied at Barnsley College & Salford University John is a proud member of the House Staff at The National Children's & Youth Brass Bands of Great Britain.
John now enjoys a lot of trumpet playing in Dance Bands, Pop Groups & Show Bands, although he has played for a number of brass bands in the past, including Stocksbridge, Wingates, Leyland, and Brighouse & Rastrick.
